Stop Being Busy...!!!

I remember talking to so many people during last few months who are always talk about how busy they are...!!! Infact I guess every one is busy, being busy or at least bragging about it is kind of a fad now. Probably it makes us feel more important in eyes of others.

Really How busy we are?

Most of the time busy is simply collection of lots of un-important things over the one that really matter or are important. It might be untrue for few exceptional cases but it is applicable to most of us.

I am also not excuse to this but since I have realized it I am trying to learn every worth of my time more than ever. I am not there yet but I am improving. As Leo Babauta Says "Stop being busy today and you are half way done."

As soon as you make a decision your time and calender clears up automatically for the things that matters to you, things that you are passionate about or for your personal life.

Its seems impossible from our outlook of our routine but once we decide and stop acting busy and prioritize the tasks in hand it starts falling through slowly.

Stop being Busy and you are half done...!!!

Life is an Occasion, Rise to it...

Shuffling through the TV channels and missing my family and friends back home this was just one of the mundane weekend of my stay in St Louis. I was almost having a feeling of being alone and left out. With all these thoughts I was actually torchering my inner me, But that's not what made me write this post.

The shuffling lead me to a movie which was overall nice to watch, but initially it looked like a very normal magic movie with nothing extra-ordinary. But when the movie Ended I was so thankful to God or whatever universal power or just luck that lead me there to watch this movie. Even though the entire movie was nice there was one dialogue that struck right to my mind and I believed right in my heart how true that was... "Life is an Occasion, Rise to it!". Wow... what a neat thought. The movies was "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium"and the dialogue was by the veteran actor Dustin Hoffman who plays the character for Mr. Magorium.

This phrase just made my day... this was so inline to my thoughts of celebrating life... but this movie gave me a deeper angle to it just telling me how much this life is precious and meant to be lived as a celebration or an occasion of joy and happiness.

After that my day wasn't mundane, I got up from my couch had a good long hour bath just thinking that this is the time I have got for myself so instead of wasting it I should utilize it (ideally celebrate it :) ) properly and do things which can make it better. Post to that i had a good long conversation with one of my very close old friend, which i hardly get time for in my day to day routine. It felt so pleasant and nice then I went to a mall close by and did some window shopping and then munched on a great big Cesar Salad with Italian seasoning and it was amazing. Took a good long walk around the area, Greeted Hi! and Good Evening! to few peoples i don't even know, and finally writing this blog.. but the fact is I am happy, and now enjoying and kind of celebrating a time which is only for myself.

Some times life always surprises us and lifts us up when ever we are in need of support and just lives us smitten. I guess it might be just a coincidence but it is something which turned my head and guided me to my way through this sad time.

Practically If I would have thought of doing something earlier I don't even need any movie to tell me that.. but the point is some time even though you know things you need a little push some thing a little extra just to turn your head get you working in the right directions and this was my head turn.

Life is so joyous it always have such small surprises for us in its kitty and it is all around us its just that we don't notice it, try to find your occasion, your reason to celebrate and you will be surprised by your own acts.

Today I raise a Toast to life... That is what Joy of life is all about...

Celebrate your Mistakes? or Life?

Yesterday while surfing through the internet and as usual in search of quest of my life I came across this simple but very meaningful blog by Leo Babauta Why You Should Celebrate Your Mistakes.

The message here is very simple yet clear, How often we consider the mistake done by us as a good learning experience which can help us excel to success or as author says brilliance?

When I started thinking about it my thoughts started getting deeper. Now my mind was talking about the different yet relative aspect of it, it replaced the mistakes and successes to good times and bad times and started thinking that its fine with mistakes but how often we actually love and celebrate our lives? In the busy lives of ours do we actually celebrate life apart from some weekend gateways and a holiday to some exotic destination? How often we take things happening to our life positively? What really excites us about the future?

So far it was fine for me to fight with my thoughts to compare the mistakes with Life and how we should actually think of life in first place than other things? Now comes the tricky situation there are learning when you do mistake which enables you to improve moving forward, I lost my self in thoughts that what life teaches us to enable us to enjoy it more and more every day?

After lot of brain storming the only thing i could figure out was that the world around makes you more and more practical thinker, selfish and a mean person. I am not being sadistic here but the fact is, this is what they call as Professional and Mature. That's not a totally bad situation to be in but that is definitely not something which can make us happier day by day.

Then what is it which we need from life? Most simple to ask yet almost impossible to answer for most of the leaving beings present on this planet.

Well we can never say that we have found the answer to this question but there are few things which definitely matter as far a Joy of Life is Concern:

1. Be Yourself, Think of it right and try to do things your way instead of following others. I have myself experienced this and take it from me even when you will not always be at the better side the feeling of achievement and learning from past mistakes will definitely be very high and it will encourage and shape all your future endeavors.

2. Don't know the author of this quote but again something from which we can learn a lot:

"A man who does not think for himself, does not think at all...!"

As I earlier stated that life teaches us to be mean and selfish, be selfish and plan things for your self right in advance, be mean and see whats right and whats wrong for you, be practical and try to do things you are comfortable doing. You don't have to use these "qualities" with people around you to hurt them or use them, use it positively for yourself. The joy of execution will always keep you energized when the plan is right. It will get you the right amount of kick and confidence required to achieve your ultimate goals.

3. Show gratitude to people around you.

At least once in a Day Thank God or if you don't believe in one then Over beloved parents or the Universe or mother earth. They all contribute to the reason of your existence and trust me it gives immense pleasure and peace of mind. Value every person around you as they make essential ingredients of thing what we call life.

4. and finally something I always find my solace in:

"Love the Life you Live, Live the Live you Love"

This is something I totally believe in, I find it most important as it tells us to be satisfied and happy about our existence and achievements at the same time it also challenges in a way to keep looking for the life we will love or something which will make us happier than ever.

Love Current and Keep Looking for a better future and happier tomorrow...!!!

Let me know your thoughts, suggestions and views on the same.

FunnyFoodMenu

Last week I along with my few friends was traveling to Chandrapur to attend one of our friends wedding. We took an AC Sleeper Bus from Pune which takes some 16-18 long hrs to reach the destination and the journey is overnight.

Now here comes the funny part On our way to Chandrapur the bus stopped at a Dhaba kind of place for dinner where we came across a "Food Menu". It was on high notes as far as English words and there pronunciations are concerned.

Have a Look at picture below... Now I have never had those kinds of snakes which are vegetarian in my entire life :D

Now here comes another inventions for the same spelling and that too on the same page of the menu...

Now comes the best which kept us guessing for at least 5-10 mins that, what it could be? When we realized what it is we all bursted in laughs... another master piece to keep with... Guess Guess.. what does it means...

.
.
.
.
It was for 25 bucks extra for Gravy....

.
Hats of To the Creator of the Menu...
